PANDUR

The most famous Swingletree horse of all:- PANDUR. For more than 20 years he regarded himself as the Star of Swingletree.  A horse with tremendous presence and charisma, Pandur headed the team in horse driving trials, coaching and display work.  He had an incredible memory and knew a route after only trotting it once.  He was furious if - say - road works prevented him taking what he regarded as a wrong turning.  Courageous and brave however, John could always rely on him to lead the team wherever he asked them to go.
